              Germany’s Brandenburg State Education Delegation visits HEBUT

              On May 19th, Germany’s Brandenburg state education delegation visited HEBUT. Dr. Martina Münch, Minister of science, research and culture of Brandenburg, introduced the higher education in Brandenburg and hoped to establish cooperative relations with HEBUT through this visit. Ulrike Tippe, president of Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau, and Andras Wilms, president of Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, respectively introduced the two universities in industrial technology, machinery, information, economy and other majors, and expressed their willingness to cooperate with HEBUT in relevant fields.

              Vice President Ma Guowei greeted the delegation. In his remarks, the two German universities' practice-oriented tradition is similar to that of HEBUT, and the two sides should give full play to each other's advantages in terms of teacher-student exchanges, international student enrollment and scientific research. President Ma also had an in-depth discussion with the delegation about the internationalization of Langfang Campus.

Brandenburg has 8 universities of applied technology, 4 comprehensive universities, 4 specialized universities and many scientific research institutions.

              Founded in 1897 by Schwartzkopff, Berliner Maschinenbau AG and a train manufacturer, the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau is more than 100 years old. The school has trained many elite engineers and offers undergraduate and master's degrees in engineering, business administration and public administration.

              Founded in 1992, Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences offers bachelor's and master's degrees in technology, economics and information and media technology. Digital media, computer-aided development, and energy efficiency and technology systems are all emerging majors.
